openofficeorg-21-writer Among the innovations that brought us Microsoft Office 2007, Word 2007 is more specifically the creation index, which unlike Word 2003 that had to be done manually this can instantly create for it the only thing we have is our document with their respective titles:

  • We start from the point that we already have our document with headings and subheadings facts:

  • first selected titles and we go to the References tab → Add text and choose the Level 1 titles, subtitles Level 2 , Etc (ie the level we want to display the selected word in the index), repeat this until we're done with all the titles and subtitles you want to appear in the index.
