Once we finished installing Ubuntu on our computer, in the screen displays this:
And maybe we feel the need to icons that should appear by default, these are off as follows:
- First press: alt + F2 to run an application, we will leave this screen and write it gconf- editor.
- Once this is done go to the configuration editor, select: apps -> Nautilus -> Desktop , once we place the value in it home_icon_name activate the option to enable home_icon_visible.
Well we have done this most important icons on your desktop as: The personal folder, equipment, trash, etc.
